About the Event
Painting is storytelling. It's fun and for everyone! Let's spend a day together diving into the joy of abstract & mixed media.
I will provide a wide array of creative and fun tools, canvas and of course, paint (!) + I'll guide you to create an abstract, mixed media artwork using acrylic paints, chalk, crayons, collage, and a variety of brushes and tools. We'll make layers and colorful textures on a 10"x10"x2" museum quality, gallery wrapped canvas. I'll share painting, collage, and mark making techniques and playful exercises to tap into your own innate creativity.
You'll gain new techniques and inspirational ideas, some new pals, and motivation to create more on your own with a newfound inspiration.
MATERIALS + LUNCH INCLUDED, all you need to bring is an open mind, playful spirit, and a willingness to get a little messy.
